Kaliyuga, the age of darkness, befell the Earth a few thousand years ago. The worst amidst the Four Yugas, meant for those who shall give in to sin, hate and suffering. The world shall drift in darkness with no Supreme being to save us from the discord of morality.
Why does humanity drown in the conundrum of such malevolence?
Why were we fated to be like we are?
Why couldn't our Gods protect us?
It is easy to blame the creator for the fault of the creation.
How dare we even?
Talk about the audacity of those who could challenge the mind of the all-knowing.
Maybe the Gods weren't well receiving of criticism from their creation. The human curse of self-preservation, materialistic lust, a mind that can comprehend possibly anything, if not individually then collectively but all for the sake of Pain.
I wonder why the Gods ran away from the suffering.
How does one have gratitude for happiness or love, without true suffering?
Maybe true suffering is the eternal absence of something new.
If everything is meaningless then why do we believe that at the end of Kaliyuga, the gods will return, and restart the never-ending cycle?
It is not crazy to think that they are tired of us. They could just correct the mistake they once thought were the missing elements in their lives.
Maybe they are far, far away with no reason to come back.
Maybe they won't.
Maybe they are waiting for us to reach them.
Maybe they are lost and tired of the hope we give them by remembering them in prayers.
Maybe that hope is dying.
When was the last time you prayed?
